Oban The Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is given a second maturation in Montilla Fino sherry casks, which brings butterscotch, toffee and caramel flavours alongside a backbone of sea salt.
The body is full and rich. The nose is complex, with crushed grapes, orange zest, salt and smoke.
On the palate there are soft malts, delicate fruits and waves of brine. The finish is smoky-sweet, with notes of sweetened Jamaican coffee and oak.
