Occhione Campo di Sasso Toscana IGT

Occhione is a Tuscan IGT wine from Campo di Sasso, made from a careful selection of grapes that reflect the robust character of the Tuscan lands. The predominant grape is grown with traditional methods, giving a rich structure and a complex bouquet of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and a slight herbaceous note. Ageing takes place mainly in oak barrels, adding vanilla notes and an elegant tannic texture that harmonises with the natural freshness of the fruit. On the palate there is a balance between softness and vigour, with a long, pleasant persistence. It suits Tuscan dishes such as roast meats, game and aged cheeses.
