Octomore 11.3 is a peated single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, a brand known for using the most heavily peated barley in the world. It was produced in 2014 and matured for five years in ex-bourbon casks from Heaven Hill, Jack Daniel's, Jim Beam and Buffalo Trace. It was released in a limited batch of 18,000 bottles.
The nose is floral with smoke. The palate is smoky, with sweet vanilla, apricot, honey, orange blossom and peat. The long finish is floral, with a hint of salted caramel.
