Octomore is the heavily peated series made at Bruichladdich on Islay. This is a 12 year old single cask release bottled at 56.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, made for the UK.
The whisky was drawn from a single second-fill Rivesaltes cask, a sweet fortified wine cask. Just 300 bottles were released.
It is smoky, with tropical fruit, brown sugar, chocolate praline and deep herbal notes.
