Octomore 13.2 Islay Single Malt (70cl, 58.3%)

Octomore 13.2 is a super heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, part of the 13th series. It is made from Scottish Concerto barley grown on the mainland and is bottled at 58.3% in a 70cl bottle, without added colouring. It matured for five years in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks from Fernando de Castilla. The nose is maritime, with citrus and plenty of smoke. On the palate there is dried fruit, nuts, smoke and lemon, and the finish is long and complex.
