Octomore 13.3 is an Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, part of the 13th series, in a 70cl bottle at 61.1% vol. It is super heavily peated and made from Scottish Concerto barley grown on the mainland.
The whisky spent 5 years maturing on Islay in American first-fill whiskey casks and European second-fill oak casks. No colouring is added at bottling.
The palate is sweet with vanilla, young fruit, maritime and smoky notes. The finish is long, smoky and dry.
