Octomore 16.4 5 Year Old 2019/2025 Bourbon & French Virgin Oak

Octomore 16.4 is a five-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2025. It is the first X.4 release of Octomore made with barley grown on Octomore Farm and matured in a combination of bourbon casks and French virgin oak. The farm barley gives a soft, earthy base. The bourbon casks add roasted oak, roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of sweet smoke, while the French virgin oak adds a depth and maturity that reach well beyond its five years.
