Octomore 17.3 is a five year old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, part of the 2026 release series. It is made only from Concerto barley grown on Irene's Field at Octomore Farm, with phenols of 132.1 PPM. It is bottled at cask strength, 60.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration and without added colouring.
It was matured in first-fill bourbon casks and selected European wine casks, including Sauternes and Ribera del Duero.
The nose combines salted caramel, smoked apple, toasted coconut, praline and vanilla cream with heavy peat smoke. On the palate, dry ashy smoke meets sweet malt, salted caramel, vanilla and citrus oil. The finish is very long, with dry ash, smouldering peat, oak spice, sea salt and fading fruit sweetness.
