Octomore Edition 10.4 is a three-year-old Islay single malt that spent its whole maturation in heavily toasted French Limousin virgin oak casks. It was bottled at a cask strength of 63.5%.
The young spirit in new French oak brings tannin, spice and fruit alongside a pronounced peat smoke.
It is usually described as smoky and oaky, with malt, dark fruit, vanilla, spice, a touch of salt and a dry cask structure.
