Ohishi Brandy Cask is a Japanese whisky in a 750ml bottle, made from a small number of ex-brandy barrels.
In the glass it is a light straw colour. The nose has a note of sake with sour floral touches and hints of nuttiness. The palate is light and syrupy, with honey, tart apple and sake, and hints of caramel and almond. The finish is subdued, with light oak tannins and toasted almonds.
