Ohishi Ex-Brandy Cask 10 Year is a Japanese whisky from Ohishi Distillery, which has worked since 1872 in the village of Mizukami in Kumamoto prefecture, on the southern island of Kyushu. It is aged for ten years in ex-brandy casks. The distillery draws on rice from the village's farms, with 30% coming from the Ohishi family farm. Mochi, Hinohikari, Gohyakumangoku and Yamadanishiki are the rice strains used, and the water is supplied by the Kuma River. Fermentation lasts 18 days.
