Ojo de Tigre Mezcal Joven (75cl)

Ojo de Tigre is a joven mezcal made from Espadin agave from Oaxaca and Tobala agave from Puebla, created in collaboration with the Mexican actor and producer Luis Gerardo Mendez. It is produced using artisanal practices. The Tobala is grown from the fertilised seeds of naturally grown plants. The bottle is inspired by the anforitas that people once carried as personal amulets, and the name refers to the tiger's eye stone. Combining the two agaves gives a balanced, smooth mezcal without overpowering smokiness. Green apple and citrus come first, followed by cooked agave, caramel and smoked cocoa.
