It is bottled unfiltered at 134.2 proof (67.1% ABV), which keeps the natural oils and a full, rich mouthfeel. The company chooses its whiskeys by taste rather than age.
The nose is brown sugar, seasoned oak, dried apricot and honeyed grain. The palate brings toffee, roasted hazelnut, black tea and baking spices. The finish is long and warming, with toasted oak, molasses, orange zest and cracked pepper.
