Old Commonwealth Red Top Rye 7 Year Old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey (2026) (75cl, 52.5%)

This is a 7 year old Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Old Commonwealth, bottled at 52.5% in a 75cl bottle. It revives the Red Top Rye name. Red Top was the flagship brand of Ferdinand Westheimer, a German immigrant who built a large whiskey business in Missouri in the late 1800s. The brand disappeared after his death, just before Prohibition. It returned in the 1990s, when Julian Van Winkle III, then owner of Commonwealth Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, relaunched it as a 15 year old single barrel rye.
