Old Dominick Bonded 6 Year Old is a Bottled-in-Bond Tennessee whiskey, distilled and bottled by Old Dominick in Memphis at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The first barrels for this release were filled in autumn 2017 and aged six full years in a bonded warehouse.
The mash bill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley. Following the Lincoln County Process, the spirit is filtered through sugar maple charcoal before it goes into new charred oak barrels.
Caramel sweetness, vanilla and warm baking spice run through the palate, with a gentle peppery warmth. The finish is long and oak-driven, with brown sugar and spice.
