Old Dominick Tennessee Whiskey (75cl, 42.5%)

Old Dominick Tennessee Whiskey is a straight Tennessee whiskey made at the Old Dominick Distillery in Memphis. It is bottled at 42.5% (85 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The mashbill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley. It goes through sugar maple charcoal filtration, kept deliberately light with a charcoal bed no bigger than a coffee can. It is aged for a minimum of four years in new American white oak barrels with a number 4 char. The nose has vanilla, caramel, tobacco and anise. The palate is lightly sweet, with caramel, crème brûlée, apricot, nectarine and a touch of rye spice. The finish is clean, with walnut, granola and a hint of smoke.
