Old Durbar 15 Year Old Samudra Man Singh Shrestha (75cl, 42.8%)

Old Durbar 15 Year Old is a blended whisky made from single malts and grain whiskies, each aged for at least 15 years. This edition was created with the Paubha artist Samudra Man Singh Shrestha, whose Mythical Creatures artwork decorates the bottle. Maturation has three stages: American ex-bourbon casks, then Oloroso sherry casks, and a finish in Pedro Ximénez casks. It is bottled at 42.8% in a 750ml bottle. The nose brings vanilla, oak and gentle spice. On the palate come dried fruits, caramel sweetness, warming spice and a little peat smoke, leading to a long finish of lingering sherry sweetness and oak.
