Old Durbar 15 Year Old Samudra Man Singh Shrestha (75cl, 42.8%)

A limited edition 15 year old blended whisky from Old Durbar, bottled at 42.8% in a 750ml bottle. It was released in collaboration with the Paubha artist Samudra Man Singh Shrestha, whose Mythical Creatures artwork appears on the bottle. It blends single malts and grain whiskies, each at least 15 years old, matured in three stages: American ex-bourbon casks, then Oloroso sherry casks, then a finish in Pedro Ximénez casks. The nose offers vanilla, oak and gentle spice. The palate brings dried fruits, caramel sweetness, warming spice and subtle peat smoke, leading to a long finish of lingering sherry sweetness and oak.
