Old Fitzgerald 7 Years Old is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Heaven Hill, in a 75cl bottle. The brand's history goes back to the 1870s, and this Bottled in Bond expression was reintroduced in 2025 as a core release.
It is aged for seven years in new, heavily charred American oak and bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV. The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley, with wheat taking the place of rye.
The colour is a bright copper. The nose has graham crackers, honey and light citrus over baking spices. The palate is rich and viscous, with fresh bread, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon and a little dried fruit. The finish is medium, with cinnamon-honey sweetness fading to oak.
