Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond 7 Year Old Bourbon (70cl, 50%)

This is a 7-year-old wheated bourbon from Heaven Hill, bottled in bond at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Bottled-in-bond means the whiskey comes from a single distilling season at one distillery, and this release was distilled in spring 2018. It was aged in new charred American oak. The mash bill is Heaven Hill's wheated recipe of 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley. The ornate, decanter-style bottle nods to the Old Fitzgerald Decanter Series, and the bourbon won a Gold Medal at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The tasting notes describe graham cracker and honey on the nose. The palate brings fresh bread, brown sugar and baking spice, and the finish is brown sugar and cinnamon fading into oak.
