Old Forester – 1897 Bottled in Bond (50%)

Old Forester 1897 Bottled in Bond is a Bourbon bottled at 100 proof (50%). It is the second release in the Old Forester Whiskey Row Series. It was made to honour the U.S. Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Under the Act, a whisky labelled Bottled in Bond must be the product of one distillation season, one distiller and one distillery. The Act's idea of sealed-in quality was one Old Forester, America's First Bottled Bourbon, had introduced in 1870.
