Old Forester – 1910 Old Fine Kentucky Bourbon (75cl)

Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Kentucky Bourbon is part of the Whiskey Row series, which Brown-Forman announced in 2014 to follow the brand's history. The 1910 edition refers to a fire that year that shut down the Old Forester bottling line, leaving a waiting batch to be returned to barrel until repairs were done. It recreates what may have been the first double-barrelled Bourbon. A fully matured batch was moved into new charred-oak casks, which added richness and vanilla from the caramelised sugars in the wood. The result has more body, weight and concentrated sweetness.
