Old Forester 1924 10 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Old Forester 1924 is a 10 year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 50% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled at the Brown-Forman Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, and is the fifth release in the Whiskey Row Series, first released in January 2024. The name looks back to 1924, when Old Forester held a Prohibition-era medicinal-whiskey permit. It bought barrels from closed distilleries and bottled them under its own name. The mash bill is new for the brand: 79% corn, 11% rye and 10% malted barley. The nose offers soft fudge, cocoa, marzipan and cured tobacco over rich oak and warm cinnamon. The palate is chocolate-covered graham cracker dusted with cinnamon, and the finish is warming and lingering with spice.
