Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2022 is the 22nd release in the vintage-dated Birthday Bourbon series, created to mark the birthday of founder George Garvin Brown. This year is the 152nd of the company he began in 1870.
It is aged 11 years and bottled at 96 proof (48%). The 11-year-old barrels were chosen for this bottling after showing unusually distinctive character at a tasting panel. The full release represents one day's production of Old Forester.
