Old Forester – Birthday Bourbon 2025 (70cl)

Old Forester Birthday Bourbon is a vintage-dated Kentucky bourbon, here in the 2025 release, in a 70cl bottle. It is released each year on 2 September in honour of the founder, George Garvin Brown, whose birthday falls on that date. The series began in 2002 and each release is a limited edition. The tasting notes describe raw honey and rich oak spice on the nose, with blackcurrant, light maple, caramel cake and white floral notes. On the palate comes peppermint tea sweetened with honey, followed by a very long finish of Szechuan peppercorn.
