Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky Bottled 1990 (75cl, 43%)

Old Forester is a Kentucky straight bourbon whisky, bottled in 1990 at 43% in a 75cl bottle. This bottling was made for the Japanese market. The brand is one of bourbon's historic names. It was among the first to be sold by the bottle, a way of assuring quality during the 19th-century trade in medicinal whiskey. It was named after a Louisville physician, Dr William Forrester, and the second R was dropped from the name when he retired.
