Old Forester – Single Barrel Barrel Strength Rye Whiskey (75cl)

Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Strength Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle. Each bottle comes from a single barrel and is bottled uncut at that barrel's natural proof, non-chill-filtered and without batch blending. It was launched in 2021 as the first barrel-strength rye in Old Forester's 150-year history, following the standard Old Forester Rye that debuted in 2019. The brand is distilled on Whiskey Row in Louisville by Brown-Forman. The nose combines creamy vanilla and lemon custard with caramel and dark brown sugar. The palate is full-bodied, with ripe orchard fruit, cinnamon, dried dill and hazelnut. The finish is long and spicy, with black pepper, green anisette and mint.
