Old Forester Single Barrel "Four Paws" is a cask strength straight bourbon from Old Forester Distilling Co. in Louisville, Kentucky, bottled at 65.6% ABV (131.2 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It comes from a single hand-selected barrel of new charred American white oak and is not chill filtered.
The nose offers toasted oak, caramelised sugar, crème brûlée, fig, pear and cinnamon, with tobacco leaf and hazelnut. The palate is full-bodied, with butterscotch, brown sugar, clove, black pepper, dark chocolate and vanilla custard. The finish is long and warm, with oak spice, caramel and toasted grain.
