Old Forester – Statesman (47.5%)

Old Forester Statesman is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 95 proof (47.5%). It was inspired by the characters in the film Kingsman: The Golden Circle and is made from hand-selected casks taken from the warmest places in the warehouse. The aim is a balance of heat and spice. It is described as having devil's food, clove and oak spice on the nose, with buttery leather on the palate giving way to pepper, cinnamon bark and sharp citrus. The finish is intense spice and eucalyptus, fading into orange cream and caramel.
