The nose offers warm vanilla, fresh corn, cinnamon spice and pear and apricot over steady oak. On the palate it is rich and full-bodied, with dark cherry, caramel-toffee, rye spice, nutmeg and a hint of tobacco leaf. The finish is long and slightly tannic, with cinnamon, toasted oak, black pepper and dried cherries.
