Old Grand Dad 7 Year Old is a Bottled in Bond bourbon in a 750ml bottle, aged for 7 years and bottled at 100 proof. It was distilled in the fall of 2018 at the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky, and is the second annual release of this expression.
The mash bill is high in rye: 63% corn, 27% rye and 10% malted barley. The brand dates back to 1882.
Cinnamon, clove and black pepper lead, over caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with a long, dry, warming finish.
