Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey - Bottled 1977 (75cl, 40%)

This is Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled in 1977 at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Old Grand-Dad is a long-running Kentucky brand named in honour of Basil Hayden. Under the Wathen family it grew into a successful business, and Otto Wathen went on to consolidate much of Kentucky's distilling, filling his warehouses with bonded stock and acquiring brands such as Hill & Hill, Bourbon de Luxe and Old Crow. The company was later taken over by National Distillers, which bought the Frankfort distillery in 1933.
