Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey - Bottled 1985 (1L, 43%)

This is Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled in 1985 at 43% ABV in a 100cl bottle. The brand takes its name from Basil Hayden, whose descendants built the first Old Grand-Dad distillery at Hobbs Station and bought it its brands in 1899. That distillery never reopened after Prohibition. National Distillers instead bought the better-known Old Grand-Dad distillery in Frankfort in 1933. The Hobbs Station site stood not far from where Jim Beam's Clermont distillery sits today.
