Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey - Bottled 1989 (75cl, 40%)

This is Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled in 1989 at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The brand is linked to Basil Hayden, who still features on the label, and to several Kentucky distilling families, including the Beam, Dant, Taylor, Medley and Wathen families. National Distillers bought the Frankfort distillery in 1933. Jim Beam acquired the distillery and National Distillers in 1987, two years before this bottling, and the old Frankfort site is now a Beam bottling plant.
