This is Old Grand-Dad Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, bottled in 2014 at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The brand was named in honour of Basil Hayden by his second-generation descendants, and he still appears on the label. Their original distillery stood at Hobbs Station in Kentucky. During Prohibition the Wathen family reorganised their company as the American Medicinal Spirits Co. National Distillers later bought the Frankfort distillery in 1933, and Jim Beam acquired National Distillers in 1987, producing this bourbon at Clermont.
