This is the fifth release in the Old Orkney series, a 19 year old Orcadian single malt bottled by Decadent Drinks at 52% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Two refill hogsheads were vatted and then married for several months in a third-fill butt, before a modest reduction to bottling strength. Just 375 bottles were filled.
Tasting notes mention sea air, salt-washed stone and gentle coastal smoke, alongside soft malt sweetness and mineral depth.
