It spent 12 years in new charred oak barrels and is bottled at cask strength, non-chill-filtered.
The nose brings toasted grain, rye spice, aged leather and dark honey. On the palate come cracked black pepper, toffee, cinnamon bark and barrel char, leading to a long, warming finish of oak, clove and molasses.
