This is Old Overholt Straight Rye Whiskey, aged for 4 years and bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is a commemorative release marking America's 250th anniversary.
The label design draws on the 1776 to 2026 span of that anniversary.
The nose brings rye grain, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, baking spice and light pepper. The palate is smooth and spicy, with caramel, vanilla, oak, cinnamon, pepper and subtle fruit. The finish is warm and balanced, with lingering spice, toasted grain, oak and light sweetness.
