Old Overholt Bonded Rye Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Old Overholt Bonded is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 50% under the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. That means it comes from one distiller at one distillery in a single distilling season, and spends four years in a federally bonded warehouse. Introduced in early 2018, it uses the same recipe as the standard Old Overholt, at bonded strength. The brand began in Pennsylvania and is made today by the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. The nose is oak and caramel with hints of vanilla. The palate brings char, spice and fresh oak, and the finish carries char with a hint of light fruit.
