Old Overholt Cask Strength Rye 11 Year Old (75cl)

Old Overholt Cask Strength Rye 11 Year Old is a Kentucky-style American rye in a 75cl bottle. It is the second annual release in the series, blended from selected warehouses and barrels. The rye was distilled and barrelled in autumn 2012 and laid down in four separate warehouses in Clermont, Kentucky. It is bottled at cask strength and is non-chill filtered, with a golden colour. The nose is bold vanilla with hints of tobacco spice. On the palate there are allspice, sweet vanilla and caramel, and charred oak. The finish is full bodied, with lingering notes of rye.
