Old Parr 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. Every whisky in the blend is aged for at least 12 years.
Diageo builds it around Cragganmore single malt, with Glendullan a major blending component since the Second World War, giving a Speyside-led blend. It comes in the brand's squat, square, crackle-finish bottle. Old Parr was launched in 1909 by the Greenlees Brothers and named after Thomas Parr.
The nose is honey, malt and dried fruit. The palate is smooth and rounded, with toffee, orchard fruit and gentle oak, leading to a medium, warm, lightly spiced finish.
