Old Parr 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% abv. It has a gold colour with a slightly coppery tinge.
The nose is mellow and rich, with musty oak and a generous measure of malty cereal, alongside dried grass, sea breeze and a little candied dried fruit.
On the palate it is rich and malty-sweet, with toffee, dried fruit and a dash of spice. The finish is long and lingering, only slightly warm and slightly peppery.
