Old Parr 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky aged for a minimum of 12 years, bottled at 40% ABV in the brand's dimpled 750ml bottle. It takes its name from Thomas Parr, an Englishman said to have lived to 152. Cragganmore single malt is at its core, with Glendullan a major blending component since the Second World War.
The nose has dried fruit, warm caramel and a trace of peat smoke. The palate is firm-bodied and malty, with toasted sesame, honeyed grain, spice and stewed fruit. The finish is long, with lemon grass, gentle peat and pepper.
