This is a 15-year-old Benrinnes single malt from Douglas Laing's Old Particular series, bottled at 48.4% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single cask and is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The nose offers honeyed malt, ripe orchard fruit and baked apple, with warm vanilla, gentle oak spice and a little nuttiness. The palate is full-bodied, with sweet barley, caramel, dried fruit, cinnamon and clove over a light oak backbone. The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweet malt, soft spice and a touch of oak.
