This is a 15 year old single cask single malt from Glentauchers, a Speyside distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing & Co in its Old Particular range. It was distilled in December 2007, matured in a refill butt and bottled in February 2023 at 48.4%, in a 70cl bottle.
The cask yielded 765 bottles, bottled without added colour or chill-filtration.
Cara Laing's team chose it because the cask stood out among those they taste, and it is described as brimming with allspice, fruit and a rich cereal character.
