Old Pepper Finest Kentucky Oak Rye Whiskey

Old Pepper Finest Kentucky Oak is a rye whiskey from the James E. Pepper name, a Kentucky brand first produced during the American Revolution and continued through 1967. The Pepper family built two main distilleries. The first stood on the site that now houses the Woodford Reserve Distillery, and the later one was the James E. Pepper Distillery in Lexington. When the bourbon industry struggled in the late 1960s, the brand and the Lexington distillery were both left idle for more than half a century.
