Old Perth Vintage 1996 is a limited edition blended malt, the first vintage release under the Old Perth name. It is a vatting of single malts from several sherry casks, all distilled in 1996, and it is 25 years old. Only 936 bottles were released, at a cask strength of 55.8% ABV.
Old Perth is the Morrison family's blended malt, drawn from sherry-matured Speyside whiskies from the Glenlivet area and blended in Perth. It is described as fruity, spicy and lightly smoky.
