Old Perth Cask Strength Sherry Cask (70cl, 58.6%)

This is a blended malt from the Old Perth range, bottled by Morrison Distillers at a cask strength of 58.6% in a 70cl bottle. It has natural colour and is not chill-filtered. It brings together malt whiskies matured in sherry casks from a selection of distilleries in the Glenlivet region of Speyside, blended in the city of Perth. The nose has red fruits, russet apples, soft berries, an older dusty sherry note and vanilla. The palate is full and velvety, with red fruits, oak, some earthiness, and warming pepper and red chilli flakes. The finish is medium to long, with red fruit and spice.
