This is a 2009 vintage blended malt from the Old Perth range, bottled by Morrison Distillers in July 2024 at 53.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has natural colour and has not been chill filtered.
It brings together single malts from three distilleries, each from a different cask: a second-fill oloroso butt, a first-fill oloroso hogshead and a first-fill PX hogshead. The outturn is 1,482 bottles.
The nose offers sandalwood, dried tobacco, sun-dried fruits, raisins and sultanas. On the palate are dried fruits, rich brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger and cloves. The finish is nutty and rich, with a lingering waxy texture.
