Old Potrero 6 Year Toasted Rye Whiskey (70cl, 50%)

Old Potrero 6 Year Toasted Rye is an American rye whiskey made by Hotaling & Co. in San Francisco. It is distilled from a mash of 100% rye malt in a small copper pot still and bottled at 50% ABV. It matured for a minimum of six years in new American white oak barrels that were toasted and air-dried for 24 months. It was reintroduced for American Independence Day on July 3, 2024, as a limited edition. The nose is typically described as dark fruit, malt, spice and hints of vanilla. The palate brings balanced sweetness, fresh oak, bold rye spice and a malty grain character, and the finish is long and complex with a substantial mouthfeel.
